Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar maker. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars with his partners. Tony knows cigars so he sold his interest in that company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory. His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. He only uses the best wrappers, binders and fillers to make these torpedo cigars. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premium cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.

This is the second tony alvarez that i've had the opportunity to try. As usual, it did not disappoint. The flavor is smooth with just a hint of spice. I started passing them out to my buddies at work and they just raved over them. They have since ordered their own and have shared with me. Consistancy in flavor and burn, they are great. After letting these sit in the humidor for 2 weeks, some of marines and i smoked a couple of these. We began looking for the police because we thought we had stolen something. Outstanding smoke for the price. I will definitely be ordering these again in the future.

Again!...you guys have suprised me. This smoke is great!..a couple had some roll issues - but after a few days in my humidore and out of the shipping wrapper they are tremendous! - i am having to lie and tell my friends i am out of them and make them order their own.
