Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar legend. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars with his partners. Tony knows cigars. He sold his interest in that company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory. His cigars are all totally handmade, and many he makes himself. He only uses the best wrappers, binders and fillers. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premium cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.

Tony alvarez torpedo's are a great mild smoke. For years i have been a fan of jr's alternative montecristo dominican #2, but these are much better and the 25 bundle is way cheaper then their 20 cigar bundle not to mention cuban crafters 6x54 beats jr's 6x52. dr hires, nc

Bought these two weeks ago. I had them in my humi since then. I somed one last night and i was amazed how nice these are. I can tell you, these are as good as a $15.00 stick or better. Very smooth, nice aroma, burns evenly and had no after flovor. You must get these.

I have over a 1000 in my humi; My go to is the alvarez torpedo. They are deeeelish! Mild, yet w/ plenty of flavor. The only complaint i have is that they are a litle squishy or light on the tobbaco; I will ignore that based upon the taste and burn. This is a no-brainer. Try them, you will love em!

Read all the reviews and had to order a bundle! Everything from ording to the qubic delivery was awesome. Not to mention is now one of my favorite smokes. Very well packed & sealed keepingthem fresh. I didn\'t even throw them in the freezer - straight to the humi. I had to smoke one right out of the box, the remaining are resting and aging, will be ordering more for sure. A smooth nutty/leathery cigar with just a hint of spice, this alvarez made stogie is a real beauty. Well made, with a lovely feel to the connecticut shade wrapper, it quickly reveals itself to be way classier than it\'s pricepoint. I bought a bundle of these some time ago and been in the humi for a while when i remembered them and tried one.I originally ordered these when i read that some of the guys smoke them on the golf course so being a Golf Pro i had to try them and boy i was not disappointed. The reviews from the golfers was spot on these are absolutely gorgeous and i am now hooked on milds and these in particular.
