Equus Maduro Cigar 660 Limited Ligero is extensively aged and handmade with 2 types of Dominican Ligeros. The fine long-filler tobacco is bound in a Dominican Piloto binder and a maduro wrapper. This rich combination produces a complex mild to medium-bodied taste that starts off with smooth, sweet tobacco. Coffee and cream undertones enhances it. The finish brings in notes of cocoa. Handmade in the Cibao region of the Dominican Republic, these cigars were aged for four years prior to being packaged naked in a cedar box. 660 Maduro are 6 inches long with a 60 ring gauge. 20 Equus 660 cigars are hand-packed in a heavy cedar box.
Equus was a brand that came to market around 2006 with much fanfare. It quickly developed a following but since demand was high, the brand started releasing cigars into the market without properly aging them. As a result, the brand lost its following. The cigars that were already made in the Dominican Republic stayed sleeping in the temperature control aging rooms for over 4 years. We were lucky enough to find these hidden treasures and after smoking them, bought every single one. We got a great deal and are passing the savings on to you.
